Fort Wayne Community Schools (Preschool) Y Care

The Y Preschool program is a dual enrollment program with Fort Wayne Community Schools, allowing your child a continued day of learning and care in a structured, enjoyable environment. We believe that social and emotional development is very important at this age. Our program is designed to provide each child with those skills. Hands-on themed centers will focus on literacy, art, fine/gross motor skills, character development and math. All work towards preparing your child for Kindergarten and are based on Indiana and local standards. Our mature and experienced staff will also focus on incorporating the Y's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility into this program.

2025-26 School Year Registration Opens May 1 at 8 am

Before/After Care Session Times:

  • Before School Care: 6:30 AM-Start of School
  • After School Care: End of School - 6 PM

*Note: Bunche Montessori has a different schedule than listed

Proof of immunization is required. Please send that to Jenn Balkema by July 15th!  You cannot attend care until we receive your immunization records.
