Nash County Health Department and the YMCA are happy to announce the ability to provide the Diabetes Prevention Program to our community. The open informational sessions are meant to gain interest from the public on the days and times that the full program could be offered. You will also be encouraged to go ahead and register for the program on-site during the informational sessions.

The full Diabetes Prevention Program will be free of charge to the first 16 participants, 18 & older, that sign up.

This is a year-long program that is designed to work with individuals with pre-diabetes or gestational diabetes. The Goal of DPP is to decrease an individual's chance of developing Diabetes. DPP is designed to create healthy lifestyles, weight loss, and prevent the onset of Diabetes.
